• This is pretty interesting: it's a sample demonstrating Atomikos' Logcloud integration with the Spring Boot Atomikos JTA starter. It's a project showing how easy it is to do XA with clustered, cloud-native transaction logging and recovery.
• Wow! I can't believe I almost missed this one. It's an awesome post by Jagdish Mirani on using Spring for Apache Geode. Apache Geode is a distributed data-grid sort of like Hazelcast, Oracle Coherence, etc. It is the open-source distribution of what we sell as Pivotal Gemfire. It's also got every thing you could want: distribution, high speed replication, continuous queries, WAN gateways, etc.
